RHY Program Impact Research Study

Is there a better way to serve youth in your community? After several years of research, Dr. Marya Gwadz with the support of Jim “Bo” Bolas, will attempt to answer that question through this webinar. Based upon their Runaway and Homeless Youth Program Impact Study, funded by WT Grant Foundation, They will review the settings, strategies and other characteristics associated with successful programs. The findings from this study will integrate qualitative and quantitative data sources, capturing the voices of program administrators, staff and youth themselves.

The Coalition of Homeless Youth (CHY) is a statewide coalition of community-based, youth-serving agencies and individuals working on behalf of runaway, homeless, and street-involved youth. Formed in the early 1970s, CHY continues to take the lead in: monitoring trends; facilitating networking; providing training and technical assistance specific to the needs of agencies serving runaway, homeless, and street-involved youth; advocating on behalf of our youth; and, developing new models to serve our youth and their families.
